Introduction

Anybody who has spent any significant amount of time in Japan will hear someone tell them about “Japan’s four seasons.” Whilst everywhere has four seasons, Japan’s are marked by not only distinct changes in weather, but also by events specific to these seasons – BAS has transplanted those events for the Southern hemisphere and brings you a series of regular social events that give you a chance to socialise outside of the theatre and experience another area of Japanese culture.
