There is no Saturday screening for September due to ParkLife 2010 being moved back to the River Stage on the only available Saturday that we could have held it. The next screening will be on Sunday 10 October.

Club Changes

The anime scene in Australia has changed considerably since BAS was formed in 1998, so we have decided to restructure the club slightly. These changes are:

1. Due to the increased availability of anime in Australia and from overseas, the usage and relevance of the members’ lending library is continually decreasing, to the point where it is no longer feasible to maintain. Therefore the lending library will be discontinued at the end of this year.

2. As access to the library was the main benefit of becoming a member, effective immediately, we are no longer accepting new members or taking renewals. All current memberships will still be fully valid until the expiry dates listed on the cards.

3. We will still hold screenings as normal and have no plans to cancel the club.

4. We have also closed the club forum as it was rarely being utilised. All updates and information about the club will continue to be posted on our website and Facebook group and fan pages.
